Chiropractic FAQ
What is the cost of a visit?
If we are in- network with your provider (see our Payments & Insurance page), your out-of-pocket costs are determined by your specific policy. This may include copays, coinsurance, or deductibles as defined by your insurance company.
Self-Pay patients: For those without insurance or whose coverage we cannot verify, we require payment at the time of service and offer a “Time of Service” discount for these visits. With this discount, a new patient visit including an exam and treatment averages $130 and follow up visits average $80. New Problem visits average $100.

Is my insurance accepted?
2
You can find a current list of our contracted providers under the “Payments & Insurance” tab. If you don’t see your carrier listed, we may still be able to submit out-of-network claims on your behalf. Please contact our office directly to discuss your specific coverage.
Do you provide massage or physical therapy?
3
Yes. Our chiropractic physicians are licensed to provide manual therapy, soft-tissue mobilization, and rehabilitative physical modalities as part of your comprehensive care.
Note: While these treatments are performed by a Chiropractor, they are typically billed under your insurance plan’s physical therapy benefits.
What should I expect from an adjustment?
4
We prioritize a manual approach to spinal adjustments. Many patient find our integrative style— combining adjustments with physical therapy— to be more relaxing and effective than traditional methods. For those who prefer a non-manual approach, we also offer instrument- assisted adjustments.
What soft-tissue treatments do you use?
5
To address muscular tension and soft-tissue injuries, we utilize a variety of evidence-based modalities, including:
Myofascial Cupping
Percussive Massage Therapy (Massage Gun)
Deep Tissue Manual Therapy
Muscle Energy Techniques such as “Pin and Stretch” techniques (also known as Active Release Technique or ART)
Who can receive treatment?
6
We are a family- centered practice treating patients at every stage of life, from newborns to seniors. Every treatment plan is customized to the individual’s age and physical needs.
Will you take X-rays during my appointment?
7
We follow evidence-based guidelines which suggest that routine X-rays for every patient are often unnecessary and results in avoidable radiation exposure. We refer out for imaging only when clinically indicated— such as in cases of trauma, specific red flags, or a lack of progress with conservative care.
For more information on modern diagnostic standards, you can review the American Chiropractic Association’s stance on radiography.
